Welcome to the Krefelder Hütte!

During winter or summer we are an ideal holiday destination for groups, clubs and families who want to pursue their hobbies away from everyday life and stress!
We are equipped with 40 beds in cozy 2- to 5-bed rooms, with shared shower / toilet.
Almost all of our rooms are furnished with sinks.
For a delicious lunch or a snack in between, a coffee, a fresh draft beer or just a simple refreshment - "Krefelder Hütte" is always a popular meeting place for everyone!
The "Krefelder Hütte" is located on the edge of the national park "Hohe Tauern" in the middle of the glacier ski area "Kitzsteinhorn". It impresses with its location in a wonderful mountain scenery, with a view of the Kitzsteinhorn, as well as a wonderful view down to the Salzach Valley and Lake Zell.
As a pioneer base, the "Krefelder Hütte" was built over a hundred years ago.
Expanded and renovated piece by piece, it is today a modern mountain hut, which could preserve its charm despite all the renovations.
During winter and summer we like to welcome all winter athletes and mountaineers!
We are surrounded by a fantastic mountain backdrop and the uninterrupted view from the "Krefelder Hütte", down to the Salzach Valley and to Zell am See is just breathtaking.
